Overview

In line with the teachers’ qualification strategy in Palestine and the professional standards of teachers, as well as the directives of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education prioritizing the hiring of those holding an educational qualification certificate and awarding additional points in the competition for education and teaching positions in Palestine, Palestine Ahliya University offers the Teacher Qualification Diploma.

This program aims to equip teachers with modern teaching methods, utilize innovative educational technology and e-learning inside and outside the classrooms, and effective classroom management. The program includes a variety of courses, such as action research, educational psychology, classroom management and communication, modern teaching methods, practicum, educational technology, critical and creative thinking, and other courses closely related to the academic field.

The program enhances students’ experiences and refines them in all cognitive and practical aspects, enabling graduates to effectively employ modern teaching methods, educational technology, realistic assessment, and student-centered classroom management.

Admission Requirements

  1. The students should have a BA. Degree in academic disciplines and priority is given to those working in the teaching field.
  2. Students of Palestine Ahliya University are allowed to join the program after completing 60 credit hours in their BA specialization
  3. The applicants must successfully pass the interview with the program committee.
  4. Agreement from the program committee in case the number of applicants exceeds the program’s capacity.
