Bridging is the opportunity given to a student whose General Secondary Examination (Tawjihi) GPA is less than 65% to obtain a bachelor’s degree, provided they have completed their studies in a recognized college and successfully passed the comprehensive exam.
The bridging student is allowed to study all majors offered by Palestinian universities that grant a bachelor’s degree as long as their General Secondary School stream aligns with the desired major of study.
The bridging student has the advantage of having successfully completed certain courses with a GPA of not less than 60% for general courses and 70% for major courses. These completed courses will be credited, and the student will be exempted from studying them again during the bachelor’s degree. The more courses credited, the shorter the time required for the bridging student to complete the bachelor’s degree.
