This specialization aims to equip the student with different scientific and professional skills in land surveying, settlement, demarcation, inheritance, estimation, and various judicial agencies. Additionally, it aims to provide the student with scientific and professional competencies in transferring property ownership, conducting land registration, estimation, and dealing with relevant legislation and laws. The specialization follows a vision of contributing to the Palestinian market with professionals and specialists in land surveying, estimation, and resolving disputes and conflicts related to land and its dimensions. This is achieved by qualifying competent graduates with the knowledge, technical skills, and legal expertise in lands, surveying, and related matters.

Admission Requirements and the Required Credit Hours:

Passing the General Secondary Examination (Tawjihi) or its equivalent in all streams.

Intended Learning Outcomes (ILOs): 

Knowledge and Understanding: Upon the completion of this specialization, students are expected to be able to:

  1. Be familiar with the basics and various systems of land surveying.
  2. Recognize the basics of surveying, land, boundary, and legal registration.
  3. Understand the principles and laws governing property ownership transfer and registration.
  4. Have proficiency in the electronic devices used in surveying.

Cognitive Skills: Upon the completion of this specialization, students are expected to be able to:

  1. Analyze and draw land surveying plans.
  2. Identify contemporary and traditional land surveying methods.
  3. Determine the appropriate surveying system based on location and available resources.
